​Why can't I just follow a free plan I found on the internet?  
Unfortunately, the majority of these programs are written by hikers themselves and not qualified coaches. This leads to about 99% of them having massive blind spots when it comes to injury prevention, efficient strength development and practicality. People do succeed following these programs, but it only prepares them for the best case scenario and nothing else. ​

​What type of training do you do?  
We don't do HIIT. We don't do burpees. We don't count calories. Instead, everything in our programming has an exact purpose, specific for the demands of your trek and your personal situation. Our training for hiking programs are focused on a gradual build, so instead of just running you into the ground (as so many HIIT programs do) we will ensure you are in peak physical condition when you leave on your adventure. 

​I get a lot of knee pain, can you help?  
Knee and back pain are very common afflictions for trekkers. That is why a big focus on our programming is focused on bulletproofing these joints to stop pain and prevent future injury. However if this is a fresh injury, or we judge it is beyond our scope of practice, we have a range of trusted partners we can work together with. 

Do you do altitude training?
No we don't incorporate simulated altitude training into our programs. While it does have some benefits for trekkers, we believe that there are many more effective (and cheaper) ways to prevent altitude sickness and improve trekking performance.
