My name is Rowan Smith and I am a personal trainer who specialises in preparing hikers, trekkers and mountaineers for their dream adventures.

And let me tell you right now, I know how much plantar pain can suck.
 
That shooting pain first thing in the morning…

That sudden feeling of horror, whenever you take a wrong step on the trail…
 
The absolute desperation as you continually roll and ice your foot, hoping for it to get better…
 
It is a nightmare.
 
And the problem I see from so many hikers out there, is they have tried dozens of ‘solutions’ but they just can’t seem to get on top of it.

Sure, they might get some short term relief…

But it never really goes away.
 
So what can you do?
 
Well, to fix a problem like plantar pain, you need more than a band-aid solution.

You need a structured, and guided approach to not only relieve the pain, but to develop and train the body so it won’t come back!

And that is where the 5-Day Plantar Pain Challenge comes in.​

To give you an insight into the exercises, the techniques and the strategies which you can apply over the long term, to truly make a change in your feet.

How The Challenge Works And
​Why It Is So Effective

This challenge applies three core principles:
 
  • Mobilise key muscles (if you suffer from plantar pain, more than likely certain muscles are tight. Releasing these can often bring a bit of relief)
  • Strengthen the supporting muscles (specific strengthening of the plantar, as well as the supporting muscles can go a long way to reducing long term pain)
  • Educate you about plantar pain (through the challenge you will learn a range of tips, techniques and tools to help manage and prevent plantar pain)
 
 
You don't need access to a gym. You don’t need any equipment. Or any experience training. You simply need to be able to dedicate 30 minutes a day to exercise. That is it!
 
These methods aren’t rocket science. But they work!  
 
Now I will be clear once again, during the 5-days it will be unlikely for you to see any long term change in your pain. But it is the FIRST step towards long term success.  
 
After the challenge, you will have two options:

  • Take the information, knowledge and techniques taught to you, and continue to apply them in your own life. 
  • Continue into the Happy Plantar Program. A  12-week training solution to designed specifically to build off this initial foundation and finally say goodbye to your plantar pain, forever. 
 
 
The choice is entirely up to you.

Now you might be thinking, why even bother charging $5 for this? You aren’t going to make any money from it… and that is completely true!
 
But I know for a fact, that even putting a few dollars ‘in the game’ can make a huge difference to motivation, action and ultimately, success.

Who is this challenge for?
This challenge is for hiker’s who experience mild plantar pain while on the trail. This is NOT for someone who has recently had surgery or a major flare up of their pain.
When will it start?
The 5-day Plantar Pain challenge, runs Monday to Friday, every week.. By signing up now, you will save you place and receive the initial instructions on how to get started on Monday.  
Will I need equipment?  
No equipment is 100% necessary for this challenge. However, if you have access to a set of mini-bands and a hard ball of some type (tennis, lacrosse or massage balls are all good options) then this will be great!
Where is this delivered?
The training is delivered via my Training App, in which all exercises, workouts and education will be loaded (with complete video instructions). On top of this, you will receive a daily email with some additional information to supplement everything. 
What if I am new to exercise?
The challenge is appropriate for all training and exercise levels. If you are not familiar with any of the exercises, there are clear video and written instructions for everything.
What does the training involve?
The training will be a mixture of mobility and strength work. All can be done at home, outdoors or in the gym. 
​How often do you run this?
This is run every week.
