Are these pre-made programs? No, we do not sell pre-made programs. Each program is individually tailored to your needs, preferences and desires. Everyone is unique, and we genuinely believe it is crazy to think a 'cookie-cutter' approach can get you properly ready for the trail. |
How does online training work? All our online programs begin with a thorough assessment, via questionnaire and recorded videos. From there, we take this information to put together a tailored training plan which we load into our Training App. The App contains clear written and video instructions for every exercise, as well as clear directions on the details of each week of training. We have had clients in their 70s use this App with great success; it is that easy to use! |
How do the assessments work? The start of each program comes with a simple movement assessment to determine if there are any weaknesses, limitations or blind spots which might affect your training and hiking. This involves you filming a series of simple exercises (which can be completed at home). From here, we will provide you with a comprehensive assessment report with our findings, as well as use all this information to tailor the training to your unique needs. |
How long should I be training? Each of the programs come with a 12-week initial commitment. This time frame allows us to cover all the necessary bases to get you 100% ready for the trail. After the 12-weeks, you have the option of continuing on or not. If you can only train for a shorter period before your adventure, please still reach out and we can discuss and alternative program for you. |
