If you are a hiker who has big weight loss goals in your sights, this is for you:

​With the turn of the year approaching, many people are considering their New Year Resolutions.


For the hiking community, this can often be a time to set ourselves some cool hiking goals.

It might involve a big trip we want to do...

Or an intention to get out and hit the trail more regularly.

Or even it might be just to start hiking again!  

And I am a big fan of each of these!

But many hikers out there will also use this time to set weight loss goals (it is one of the most common New Year resolutions, after all!)

This can be a tricky thing.

Because weight loss journeys, for most people, are hard.

And weight loss journeys, for most people, are not much fun

(With restrictions, low mood and navigating social situations)

And weight loss journey, for many people, can fall into never-ending cycles.

(And some hikers have been in on a roller coaster for years or decades with these things).

Over the years, I have seen MANY hikers out there set ambitious weight loss goals (in combination with their hiking goals) but then get tripped up in their weight loss journey. 

And then start feeling negative about their 'failure'.

Which then carries over and affects their training...

And ultimately, their hiking.

I have seen this SO many times over the years, and it sucks. 

But let me tell you this:

Becoming an incredibly capable, confident and comfortable hiker without losing a gram of weight is entirely possible.

How?

By doing the right physical preparation and training.

Now, this is a really big topic and requires quite a bit more context and nuance than I can do in written form.

So instead, I have put together a webinar on the topic.
