fter being in the works for so long, today I have officially launched a brand new course, 'Training For Hiking Do It Yourself Course'. And today I want to walk you through what this course is, why it exists, and why I think it is going to be such a powerful resource for so many hikers out there. If you have been following me for a while, you probably already know this about me: I am hugely passionate about training for hiking. I know, without a doubt, that following a structured and specific training program can be one of the best things a hiker can do to feel capable and confident on their adventures. To reduce the risk of aches, pains and injuries. To increase the chance of success. And ultimately to just have a good time out on the trail. After years and years and years of helping hikers train properly, I have seen firsthand just how effective this stuff can be. Now, as much as we help a lot of hikers each year through our online personal training programs, I also know something else to be true. Step One: You sign up and get access to our brand new education platform. Inside are video lessons that break everything down clearly and in detail. Step Two: You take the action points and instructions and build your own training program. This includes your hiking plan, strength training, cardio sessions, and recovery work. All specific to hiking and structured around your life, preferences, and needs. Step Three: You go out and put your new workouts and training plan into action. Now to be clear, step three is on you. This is not a coaching program. We are not supervising your sessions.
