"I’ve finally completed my Tour du Mont Blanc hike on Friday - 170km, 10 days of walking (plus one rest day in Courmayeur)!

I’m feeling quite chuffed for having been able to do it, on my own, no tour group or self-guided booking, taking into account altitude sickness and a bout of gastro on the way (not fun when trying to climb mountains).

It has been the most challenging thing I’ve ever done, but ultimately the most rewarding. I hope I’ve been able to conquer that negative voice in my head constantly telling me I can’t do it!  

Thanks to Rowan and the team for helping me to prepare for this - no blisters, no injuries, no soreness! I felt so strong all the way, even through my weak state when sick!"

"I completed an 8 day hike with full pack around Tour du Mont Blanc in September - I covered128km and 7,422m elevation. I had absolutely no soreness anywhere and could tackle those mountains (and some were steep and long!) with comparative ease feeling fresh as a daisy every morning!

And then I immediately hiked another 8 days along the Alta Via1 in the Italian Dolomites mountain range. This hike I can reeeeaaalllly recommend  Totally magnificent majestic and awe-inspiring mountains (and just a tiny bit of rock scrambling ).

So, no matter your age (I'm in my 60s), go for it - Rowan's program worked brilliantly for me - it's inspired me to go further than I'd ever dreamed of and has given me such a tremendous sense of achievement"
