To help, this video explores a number of training strategies a hiker can use to improve their speed on the trail. Strength training can be a fantastic tool for all hikers.
However, while many hikers incorporate some strength training in their weeks, one thing is holding back SO many people from fully realising the amazing benefits this can bring... Unfortunately, the usual solutions many hikers try for this (such as trying a different shoe and/or doing some rolling with the ball) will only get you so far... Foot pain is a multi-faceted issue. And if you are not taking a comprehensive approach, you will likely not see the change you want (and it will continue to plague your hiking adventures!) To help here, this video details a few areas of training that can often make a significant difference for a hiker's feet. |
